Norma

type origin year neck construction headstock zero fret trussrod

Japan late 60's bolt on violin with f-holes forehead yes yes
notes:  Norma was a brand name from StrumīN Drum, Inc. of Chicago, who imported most instruments from the Tombo Company in Japan. Tombo is said to have been specialized in copying italian guitars like EKO and Goya. The guitar below should be a copy of the Eko 995 type and was available in sunburst or nature finish.
The same model exists with a scroll headstock instead of the forhead (refer to pictures in the lowermost line). Both types feature the Z-inlays on the fretboard.
