Not only that it could hold a peg like the Gibson EB-1, body and headstock were heavily inspired by the italian Eko 995 (see headstock comparison below). Similar to the 995 was also the fact, that some fools sawed off the forehead to approach the Hofner silhouette, so the budget version of the lion eventually came without the forehead. |
